Easy Apple Cider Donut Cake

Apple Cider Donut Bread

Ingredients

Bread

  • 1 Box Spice Cake Mix
  • 1 Cup Apple Cider
  • 1/4 Cup Apple Sauce (regular or cinnamon flavor)
  • 3 Eggs

Topping

  • 1/4 Cup Butter, melted
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1-2 Tbsp Cinnamon

Optional Apple Cider Glaze

  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Apple Cider

Instructions

Apple Cider Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and coat a bundt pan with non stick cooking spray.

  2. Mix all cake ingredients together until smooth using a stand or hand mixer. (If you don't have one, using a whisk works too!) and add to well greased bundt pan.

  3. Bake for 45 minutes. Remove and let cool for about 20-30 minutes. Once cake is done cooling, remove from pan onto a wire rack.

  4. Brush melted butter on top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.

Cinnamon Sugar Topping

  1. In a small bowl, melt butter.

  2. In a separate bowl combine cinnamon and sugar.

Apple Cider Glaze

  1. Whisk together powdered sugar and apple cider. (Please note, you can add more liquid or sugar depending on your taste. Add a small bit at a time to get desired consistency.).
