Easy Guacamole Recipe
Ingredients
  • 3 Avocado, ripe, seeded and peeled
  • 1 Lime, juiced (about 2 tbsp)
  • 1 Tsp Salt (or more to taste)
  • 1/2 Onion (red, yellow, white, any color works)
  • 3 Tbsp Fresh Cilantro
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, diced (or 5 grape tomatoes, any kind will work)
  • 1 tsp Garlic, minced
  • Optional add-ons: jalapeno, cumin, cayenne pepper, garlic salt, corn, cheese, pineapple, mango, etc.
Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, mash together the avocados, lime juice and salt. Mix in onion, cilantro, tomatoes, and garlic. Refrigerate for best flavor or serve immediately.

How to pick a ripe avocado:
🥑 Ripe avocados will have a skin color that is dark green to nearly black.
🥑 Ripe avocados will have skin with a bumpy texture (not smooth).
🥑 Ripe avocados will yield to gentle pressure without leaving indentations or feeling mushy.
🥑 Peel back the small stem on the top of the avocado... if it comes away easily and you find green under it, that’s a good, ripe avocado. If you pull back the stem and find brown underneath, the avocado is overripe. If the stem doesn’t come off, it is not ripe enough to eat yet.
